Lemels

These include:
            High grade bench scrap
            Filings
            Small pieces of scrap
            Sprues
Processing time: 5 working days.
NB: It is a good idea to separate silver where possible.

Sweeps

These include:
            Floor sweepings
            Polishings
            Emery paper
            Hand-wash sludge
            Carpets/mats
            Floor boards
            Lino
            Anything that contains precious metal
Processing time: 10 working days
NB Batteries and light bulbs should be kept out of sweeps.

Scrap

Clean alloy scrap originating from Morris and Watson (eg. Sprues, plate offcuts) can be converted to other alloys and forms. This scrap must be separated by alloys, and uncontaminated by solders, filings etc.

Identifiable scrap jewellery, silver ware, coins or any item containing precious metal are generally purchased after testing only, allowing for immediate settlement.

Charges:

A nominal assay fee based on number of metals being traced, plus refining charges based on received weight. Settlement can be made in metal, account credit or cheque, whichever you prefer.
